Research status: CONFIRMED as the daughter of Edward Gregg and Elizabeth Darling and the sister of Ethel Gregg, wife of Frederick Albert Proeger. Her own 1968 death certificate, read from the image, names her father as Edward Gregg and her mother as Elizabeth Darling and gives her birth on 17 November 1878 at Carmichaels S931; her 1906 marriage docket, read from the image, gives the same birth date and place and her middle name, Darling S930; the 1880 census, read from the image, has Mabel, 1, in Edward and Lizzie Gregg's household at Carmichaels S416.
